Meet Danielle Edwards

My journey in healthcare began at the age of 21 when a lady called Sue invited me to work with a gentleman in the community.

The experience that followed, including assisting him at his daughter's wedding in Cyprus, ignited my passion for care.

Hi, I’m Danielle Marie Edwards. With over 15 years of experience, I am a dedicated Health and Social Care professional. My journey in healthcare began at 21 when a close friend invited me to work with a gentleman in the community. This experience, including assisting him at his daughter’s wedding in Cyprus, sparked my passion for care.

After earning my NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, I joined an agency to gain diverse experiences, including six months on the Isle of Man working with young adults with disabilities. Later, I led a team in a Manchester residential home for adults with learning disabilities.

My eight years at Stockdale’s as a senior support worker were transformative. I honed my skills in residential units for individuals with complex needs and supported children with learning disabilities. Driven by ambition, I studied Healthcare and Management at university, earning a 2:1 degree. As a Registered Care Manager, I focused on enhancing community life, earning a “Good” rating during my first inspection.

Recognising a gap in personalised care, I founded Bespoke Community Care Limited. We offer tailored services; Respite Care, Daily Living Assistance including meal preparation, light housekeeping, accompaniment to appointments, social interaction, Companionship and Pet Care. Our goal is to ensure clients are safe, happy, and have choice in their care needs. My dedicated team and I are committed to delivering exceptional care.

My vision is to keep the company small, ensuring consistent care by the same carers. This builds trust and creates opportunities for a bespoke service. Often, our carers become part of the family. We’re known for going the extra mile and creating opportunities for each family.
